Experiment # 15
Drying Times of Blood

If possible during the week fresh blood is drawn from a class participant and the drying times of this unaltered blood is tested. Done in two ways first as the finer droplets generated in a spatter pattern by way of the rat trap (minus the rat) and also individual drips of blood created from an eye dropper. These are wiped at specific time intervals all in an attempt to determine the drying times of 2 common crime scene bloodstain volumes being a drip stain or a spatter pattern.
